Trad Trio

The Trad Trío hail from the Greenhills of Sligo where they first met during the All Ireland Fleadh hosted there in 2014. This meeting of  musical minds was the best thing (apart from the Fleadh) to happen to the Sligo Irish Music scene. Mairéad our lovely whistle player and Belle of Bray reeled in the Lonesome Boatman Dave O'Connor, our full time guitar player when he's not sailing on the South Wind. The Maid Behind the Bar introduced them to the Bird in the Bush aka Gráinne Horan as she played her fiddle. Always up to something she was last spotted Tripping Up the Stairs of Dublin Airport as she went Off to California. After being on the Road to Lisdoonvarna last year the Trad Trío look forward to taking The Mountain Road to The Spirit of Folk Festival. Join the Trad Trío for some high energy, foot-tapping trad.
