Though strongly influenced by vintage American and Irish folk and roots, the Dublin native has long been entertaining audiences with a self-penned, contemporary repertoire that is very much in his own style. His unique, soulful vocals and direct and conversational turn of phrase, delivered in his own Dublin accent, instantly set him apart from many of his contemporaries on the London scene.
His E.P, “The Heart, The Head and the Long Since Dead”, released this year, has received critical acclaim in the UK and will be rolled out in Ireland in Autumn this year. In September Rob will play his first Irish gig in a year at the Spirit of Folk festival.
