Elaine Lynch

Elaine was born in the small village of Carragh just outside of Naas, Co Kildare. Her passion for writing became clear throughout her school years, but it wasn’t until the age of 19 while studying English at University that she finally took up the guitar. She has woven words and music ever since. Upon graduation, Elaine decided to take an extended hiatus from the recession in 2010 and embarked on her own adventure to Canada, where she managed to land her first ever gig in a hippy café in Toronto.

She spent the next three years honing her craft, busking and gigging her way across Canada, America and Australia. People are drawn to her voice and soulful lyrics of the songs she sings and her set list features a winning mix of originals and cover songs like you’ve never heard before.
