How To Apply

If you are a Folk or Traditional Irish artist or band you are eligible to apply to The Spirit of Folk Awards 2013.

The bands will be shortlisted by our panel of judges to 9 that will play the Spirit of Folk Semi Finals at Whelans Live on the 31st  August. From that 9 bands, 3 will be picked to play the finals at Dunderry Park on the 21st September

Prizes will include

• €1000 Bursary
• Recording time at Darklands Studios
• A 5 day residential retreat for creative writing at Dunderry Park
• The band profiled with all Spirit of Folk Media Partners
